Answers about GhostSEO for SHOPLINE, AI generation, publishing, limits, connections, and merchant data.
GhostSEO is a SHOPLINE-connected SEO and content workspace. It uses authorized product information from your store to help you review product content, generate SEO and social copy, analyze product images, and publish approved content through supported connections.
GhostSEO accesses only the SHOPLINE scopes approved during installation. It uses authorized store and product information needed for the features you request. SHOPLINE store access tokens are encrypted at rest and are not exposed in browser code or logs.
No. Product Studio generates suggested improvements for review. Approved product fields are only sent back to SHOPLINE when you choose to publish them.
Free or trial accounts can use up to 3 AI actions per day. Paid accounts can use up to 30 AI actions per day. Usage resets automatically at midnight in the application timezone.
AI content generation and product image analysis count toward the daily allowance. Copying generated text, opening a manual platform composer, sharing already-generated content, or publishing already-reviewed content does not consume another AI generation.
GhostSEO stops additional AI generation until the daily allowance resets. The app displays the current usage count and a message explaining when generation becomes available again.
GhostSEO currently supports direct connected publishing or delivery through LinkedIn, WordPress, Slack, Discord, and an automation webhook when those services are connected to the SHOPLINE merchant account.
Composer is the manual posting workflow for platforms that are not connected for direct publishing. GhostSEO generates platform-aware copy, applies the appropriate character limits, includes the SHOPLINE product link when available, and lets you review the result before copying or opening the destination platform.
The current Composer supports X, Facebook, Pinterest, Threads, and Bluesky. Bluesky and X can open their supported compose flows with generated text prepared for the merchant. Other manual destinations copy the approved text and open the platform so the merchant can paste and publish.
Yes. When a valid SHOPLINE storefront product URL is available, GhostSEO adds it to generated social content so customers can reach the product page directly.
Yes. GhostSEO applies platform-aware limits before copying, opening, or publishing content. For example, X and Bluesky use short-form limits, while LinkedIn uses a shorter commerce-focused target even though LinkedIn allows longer posts.
GhostSEO applies a 15-minute cooldown per connected publishing platform. This is a safety guard designed to reduce accidental repeated posting and protect connected merchant accounts. If a post is attempted too soon, GhostSEO displays the remaining wait time.
Yes. WordPress connects using the site URL, WordPress username, and a WordPress Application Password created for GhostSEO. Credentials are stored securely and are not displayed back to the browser after they are saved.
No. The current SHOPLINE workflow is configured for live publishing. GhostSEO verifies the WordPress response and confirms that the published post exists after creation.
The webhook connection lets a merchant send approved GhostSEO content to one HTTPS endpoint, such as an automation workflow, internal service, or webhook receiver. GhostSEO also provides a test receiver and inspector so webhook payloads can be reviewed before connecting an external destination.
Yes. The GhostSEO webhook inspector can capture a test SHOPLINE product event internally. This lets you review the request JSON and event details before adding an external webhook destination.
Product Image OCR analyzes the selected SHOPLINE product image for readable labels and other visible supporting information. The SHOPLINE product title remains the authoritative product identity, and image analysis is treated as supporting evidence rather than permission to invent product facts.
No. GhostSEO does not sell merchant personal data. Operational data may be processed by infrastructure and service providers acting under contractual safeguards as described in the Privacy Policy.
Operational data is retained only as needed for service delivery, legal obligations, security, and support. GDPR deletion callbacks are handled through dedicated customer and store-redaction endpoints.
You can uninstall the SHOPLINE app at any time. Merchants may also request access to or deletion of applicable personal data, subject to records that must be retained for legal or security reasons.
Use the GhostSEO Support form for support, account questions, or privacy requests.
